Alumni Committee
The School of Human Settlement Alumni Committee of XIM University functions to strengthen the bond between the institute and its alumni. A strong Alumni base is one of the formidable strengths for any elite institute. Thereby, the committee acts as a platform where the existing students and the alumni can interact for a healthy, mutually beneficial relationship.
The prime objective of our committee is to foster relations between the Alumni and the Institute and strengthen the bond between alumni and current students.
The committee organizes various events such as Alumni Meets to keep the alumni in constant touch with the institute and also help them in networking amongst themselves.
The committee also tracks and highlights the achievements and successes of alumni so as to provide impetus to the institute and its students. Alumni Committee publishes an annual newsletter – Astitva – which contains articles, interviews, achievements of alumni. Moreover, the committee acts as a facilitator and provides administrative help to the alumni. “

XIM University hosted Alumni Homecoming on 15th Feb 2019. The School of Human Settlements was delighted to welcome and host it's proud Alumnus. The event commenced with a welcome address by the Vice Chancellor Fr. Urvari followed by a panel discussion.
Being a school specific event, served as a great platform to gain knowledge of the current trends and practices in the urban sphere. The Alumnus shared their experiences of how the values attained at School of Human Settlements helped them grow in the competitive environment.

School of Human Settlements Alumni Committee conducted an Alumni Talk on Wednesday, the 4th of December, 2019. The speaker of the event was Mr. Biswaprakash Kar, a student of the 2016-2018 batch of XUMG.
He gave insights about competitiveness in the industry and how School of Human Settlements students have an edge over others when it comes to spectrum of knowledge base and its application.

The School of Human Settlements Alumni Committee organized an Alumni Talk on 19th October 2019 which was given by two inspiring speakers from the 2016-2018 batch of MBA-UMG led by Mr. Amit Kumar Sharma working as an Associate in PwC and Mr. Gourav Pradhan, PMO Executive for Quess Corp Limited. .
Mr. Gourav shared the importance of People Skills and the need to keep one's unique mark in the industry with various skill sets. Mr. Amit shared various techniques of Real Estate Valuation and Financial Modelling.

One of our alumni (2001-03), Mr. Rajesh Pandey, has won the Galleria Di Lux Photography competition “The Shot”. The prize includes a winning certificate and a paid trip to Milan. We congratulate Mr. Rajesh Pandey on this big achievement, and wish him the best in his future endeavours!
