UNNOVATIONS is a vibrant platform for students across the country to compete and showcase their creativity, intellect, and interpersonal skills across a spectrum of engaging events.

UNNOVATIONS ’25 Events:
We have an exciting range of competitions listed this year that will help showcase talents and offer opportunities for college students to shine:
PG and UG Competition:
- Hackathon: Teams of 2–3 members to propose innovative, practical solutions to urban challenges using new technologies and approaches, backed by a feasible business plan. This year’s Hackathon theme is ‘AI and the City’.
UG Only Competitions:
- The Mayor’s Discourse: A platform for persuasive public speaking and debate. The theme for this year is ‘Digitization of Urban Municipal Governance and Urban Municipal Service Delivery’.
- Quizzite: Challenge your knowledge and intellectual agility across a variety of urban topics.
- Communication for Change: Teams of 4-8 members are invited to stage a 10-minute street play (nukkad natak) to raise awareness on urban issues or for uptake of new solutions.
- Shutterbug: A photography competition capturing the essence of urban contrast. The theme for this year is ‘City Life.’
- Face it on: Turn your partner’s face into a city canvas of your imagination in this vibrant face painting competition. The theme for this year is ‘City Life.’
- Rhythm: Groove to the beat in this captivating group dance competition.
